Time to Explore and do Trek in Chile with this way at Monte Chirifo

The Chirifo Hill Traverse is a demanding mountain activity,

developed in a Patagonian environment of great scenic beauty. During the day, participants

traverse a route that combines native forest, areas of burned forest, and wide high-mountain slopes, with snow present depending on the time of year.

The trek is characterized by traversing slopes with varying degrees of incline,

ranging from gentle, sustained inclines in the initial sections to more

technical sections with steep slopes, where the use of crampons, trekking poles,

and harnesses is required, always under the supervision of specialized guides.

These conditions make the traverse a dynamic and challenging experience, ideal

for those seeking an authentic and progressive mountain activity.

During the ascent, panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding mountain ranges are enjoyed,

highlighting the open landscapes, the vast snow-covered plains, and the slopes

that lead to the final summit push. The experience culminates with the ascent of Cerro Chirifo and a controlled descent, closing the day with a moment of camaraderie before the return to Puerto Río Tranquilo.
